Seller agreement
Effective: 2 October 2026
This policy sets the minimum requirements for businesses selling through ZenDukan. Applying as a seller means you confirm that all information and documents submitted are accurate and that you will follow applicable Indian laws, tax rules and marketplace policies.
1. Seller eligibility and verification
- Valid legal name, mobile number, email and business/store address.
- PAN and government-issued identity proof.
- GSTIN where legally required for the seller, product category or transaction.
- Bank account in the seller or registered business name, supported by a cancelled cheque or bank proof.
- Business registration, brand authorisation, licences or category-specific documents when requested.
ZenDukan may verify documents, request additional information and approve, reject, suspend or re-verify a seller to protect customers and the marketplace.
2. Products and catalogue responsibility
Sellers must list only genuine, lawful and accurately described products. Images, specifications, price, stock, warranty, tax details and delivery promises must be correct. Counterfeit, pirated, unsafe, prohibited or misleading products are not allowed. New sellers require manual approval before selling.
3. Marketplace commission and charges
The standard launch marketplace commission is 10% of the order value, with no fixed platform fee per order. Applicable GST on fees, payment-processing charges, shipping charges, returns or other clearly disclosed service charges may apply. Category-specific rates may be introduced with prior notice.
4. Settlement and payout
- Minimum withdrawal request: ₹1,000.
- Only completed and eligible orders enter the withdrawable balance.
- Settlements are subject to delivery confirmation, cancellation/return checks, fraud review and account reconciliation.
- Approved payouts are normally processed weekly to the verified bank account.
- Refunds, chargebacks, penalties, customer claims and unpaid marketplace charges may be adjusted from future settlements.
5. Shipping and fulfilment
The seller is responsible for packing, accurate weight and dimensions, lawful invoices, dispatch, tracking and safe delivery unless ZenDukan confirms a managed fulfilment service in writing. Sellers must meet the promised dispatch time, provide valid tracking and promptly report delays. Delivery promises must not be misleading.
6. Returns, refunds and customer support
Sellers must follow the displayed product return policy and applicable consumer law. Damaged, incorrect, counterfeit or materially different products may require refund or replacement. Sellers must respond promptly to order and support issues and cooperate with ZenDukan investigations.
7. Performance and enforcement
ZenDukan may monitor cancellations, late dispatch, delivery reliability, returns, authenticity complaints and customer service. Serious or repeated violations may result in listing removal, payout hold, seller suspension or account termination. Badges or preferred status will be granted only against real performance criteria.
8. Data, confidentiality and acceptance
Seller and customer data may be used only to fulfil authorised marketplace transactions and must be protected from misuse. By submitting a seller application or continuing to sell, the seller accepts this agreement and future notified updates.
